Hot Cookie wants everyone to be able to browse our menu, find our stores, and order cookies on hotcookie.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We build and maintain this site ourselves, test it with automated tools and by hand with a keyboard and screen reader, and fix problems as we find them. Recent work includes keyboard access to the cart and checkout, labeled form fields, announced error messages, and a "skip to content" link on every page.

Known limitations

Card payment fields are provided by our payment processor, Square, inside a secure frame we don't control. Some older blog posts and promotional graphics may not yet meet our color contrast or text-alternative standards; we're updating them as we go.
